A new lens featuring focal length of 70-400mm is circulating around the net. The focal length of the 70-400mm F4-5.6 G SSM is equilevant to 105-600mm on a APS-C image sensor camera such as Sony Alpha A700. It weights at 1.5kg.

PIE2008: Sony showcase Alpha Full Frame with battery grip and New External Flash
During PIE 2008 yesterday, Sony showcased their Full Frame codenamed DSLR-A900 and also a new external flash. Not much details were revealed at Sony booth but PCWorld reported that the full frame camera may be launch on August or September
Sony spokeswoman said the camera would get launched later this year at a major industry event. With CES and PMA already gone remaining events include IFA and Photokina in August and September respectively in Germany and Ceatec in October in Japan.

It is unofficial, yet. Sony will be releasing a new flash and 2 lenses. It is unsure which version will the new flash be replacing. The two lens mentioned are 70-300G with SSM and Carl Zeiss 24-70 F2.8.

After the announcement of Sony Alpha 200, there is a rumor of a possible launching of yet another Alpha series DLSR by Sony. No technical specification is released on the Internet but it is obvious that the main attraction shall be its swivel LCD display similar to the one on Olympus E-3. The latest camera released by Nikon the D300 and Canon the40D are equipped with the live view ability too.
