PIE2008: Sony showcase Alpha Full Frame with battery grip and New External Flash

During PIE 2008 yesterday, Sony showcased their Full Frame codenamed DSLR-A900 and also a new external flash. Not much details were revealed at Sony booth but PCWorld reported that the full frame camera may be launch on August or September

 

Sony spokeswoman said the camera would get launched later this year at a major industry event. With CES and PMA already gone remaining events include IFA and Photokina in August and September respectively in Germany and Ceatec in October in Japan.

      I’ve been hearing through the grapevine that the A-900 might be coming earlier than that. Perhaps in response to the rumoured earlier launch of Canon’s 5D successor.
      You never know….

      Until then, its still a romour, but indeed a hot one, we see similar photos of it spreading at sites like engadget, gizmodo, photographybay, northlight, dpreview’s forum and many more.
